Efinity Development Update (31/01/23)

A round-up of Efinity's development activity for the last two weeks.

What is Efinity?

The cross-chain NFT highway, Efinity, is a parachain built on the Polkadot ecosystem. It enables designers, game developers, artists, and others to supercharge their projects or apps on Efinity at a low cost while being completely scalable.

Hello everyone! In this edition of the Efinity Development update, we have some technical updates to share revolving around our favorite blockchain. This current update includes —

Refactor efinity-xcm to use weights computed from orml_xtokens.
• The aim is to modify efinity-xcm to use weights (values used for calculation) computed from orml_xtokens instead of another source, resulting in easier and more straightforward calculations for XCM weights
We have upgraded to Polkadot version v0.9.36 from v0.9.33.
• Efinity is now compliant with the latest version of the Polkadot ecosystem.
Emit the AttributeSet event after CollectionCreated when creating a collection with attributes.
• This update is being added to increase transparency on the blockchain when a collection is established with its attributes set, allowing for better tracking and visibility of actions taken on the blockchain.
Resolved issue with dispatch_and_touch not functioning for accounts not associated with Fuel Tanks.
• The aim is to improve user experience with a quality-of-life fix.
Resolved issue with FuelTanks::removeAccountRuleData not emitting event accountRuleDataRemoved.
Transferring to self throws an error.
• Trying to perform a self-transfer using the multi-tokens pallet now returns an error.
