Introducing Efinity Beam, on Polkadot, the world’s first NFT distribution service powered by Efinity. With Efinity Beam, you can now receive your NFT directly to your Web Wallet within minutes.
Beam has always enjoyed a significant following. It’s easy to see why it’s a favorite. What started as a hack day experiment turned into a way for anyone from individuals to corporations to distribute their tokens using QR codes.
Beam has only been available on Ethereum (MainNet) and JumpNet, which is Enjin’s private Proof-of-Authority (PoA) blockchain network.
That's no longer true. We’re happy to announce that Beam is now available on Efinity as of today! This is the fastest way to get NFTs sent straight to your wallet.
Beam is a QR code distribution service for Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and Fungible Tokens (FTs), delivered within minutes to your mobile wallet.
By using Beam, you can tailor the digital assets you send to suit your target audience and marketing objectives, such as gaming assets, branded collectibles, gift cards, discount codes, early access, and more.

We have exciting news: Efinity NFTs can now be distributed using Beam! These are the first NFTs available through Beam on Polkadot.
We all remember how much everyone adored beam on JumpNet - over the course of its existence, Beam has had a total of 3.8M claims - that’s a lot of NFTs being distributed!
Not only is Beam powerful and works as well as on JumpNet, but it now takes only six seconds to receive your NFT on Efinity via Beam. This is the fastest an NFT has ever been sent to a user. Beam also allows for insanely scalable campaigns across the network. On Efinity, we can see this reaching 1M campaigns. The more campaigns and NFTs, the merrier!
We’re also excited to introduce a new feature: Mint-on-Demand. This feature allows for cost savings by eliminating the need to pay to pre-mint all NFTs and then issue them through Beam. Long gone are the days of having to pre-mint all of your NFTs.
Another cost-saving feature is the batch minting/transfer of NFT claims. During periods of high demand, Beam can be configured to create batches of 150 mints/transfers per transaction and send them every six seconds (demanding on the configuration that is set).
As an example, if 500 individual claims were made in a six-second period, four transactions would be created and broadcasted for that period alone (3x of 150 and 1x of 50). All 500 claims would be distributed roughly within the six-second block time due to batch minting.
All of this means that more NFTs can be distributed easier in batches, rather than having them go out individually to users’ addresses.
With the power of Beam, it will ultimately be the go-to NFT package for the Enjin Platform, allowing Beam to become heavily customizable so that you can tailor it to your needs, audience or consumer base. Both Beam and the Platform are fully decentralised - just how we like it!
You can use Efinity on Beam to place your own, unique QR code anywhere for anyone to scan and receive their first NFT. You can put it inside game worlds or at the bottom of your real-world product.

This is the next step in making Efinity NFTs available to everyone, everywhere. All you need to get started is a mobile device and an internet connection.
With these tokens, you can use all of Efinity’s features. Because all of Efinity's NFT functionality is based on the protocol layer, there is less smart contract risk. Additionally, royalties are handled without regard to which marketplace the asset is sold on.
This is the beginning of true mass adoption of this technology, allowing anyone to join the space with just two taps of a button. Even your grandmother or grandfather can use it!
To celebrate the launch of Efinity on Beam, the Web Wallet, and the Enjin Wallet 2.0 app, we are giving away the very first claim drop of Efinity NFTs, which you can claim and receive in your own Wallet.
If you're on your mobile now, you can also just scan this QR code!
You can see all of the Efinity NFTs you’ve collected through Beam using the Web Wallet. Additionally, we recommend you migrate your Web Wallet to the Enjin Wallet 2.0 app, which is currently available on the Play Store and App Store.
The Enjin Wallet 2.0 supports Efinity, Ethereum (MainNet), and JumpNet digital collectables.

Here are some incredible applications that have been made possible by Beam in the Metaverse, where we have collaborated with companies from all over the world to bring NFTs to consumers.
HapiFam, a food provider based in Malaysia uses NFTs distributed via Beam in their cereal boxes! They partnered with Enjin to use Beam and to create a QR-based loyalty program that enables customers to earn rewards simply by scanning the QR codes on HapiFam products.

Sogen Sake Brewery Co., Ltd., established in 1768, is the oldest sake brewery in Oku-Noto. It is believed to be the birthplace of the Noto Toji Guild, one of the four major production streams in the country, and the source of sake with a robust flavor profile. Sogen has won a total of 19 gold awards at the National New Sake Appraisal in recent years.
The Sogen Sake Brewery wanted to give its guests a meaningful “I was here” NFT as a souvenir for its visitors. The NFT QR code was installed in Koiji Station building of the Old Noto Railway. Even though the train no longer runs through there, many tourists still visit. The liquor is kept in a nearby tunnel.
Bite Local is an Australian company founded on the belief that everyone should benefit from the food delivery economy. Their innovative approach to online food delivery benefits restaurants, customers, and delivery drivers.
Users will be able to use and trade NFTs, which provide the holder with utilities and free food in exchange for specific actions.
They can use their NFTs to claim real-world rewards from their favorite restaurants, eventually upgrading them and retaining the right to sell or trade them as they see fit.
